Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Is This Song AI (isthissongai.org) collects and why. The service is run by Jianwei Li, sole trader, Building 11, Liyuan Xincun, Majialong Community, Nantou Subdistrict, Nanshan District, Shenzhen 518052, Guangdong Province, People's Republic of China. What we collect

  • Account. Your name and email, and your profile picture if you sign in with Google.
  • The audio you check. Your browser cuts a 30-second clip from the middle of the track and sends only that clip. We pass it to Sightengine to run the AI music check and don't store the audio. We keep a fingerprint (hash) of the clip and its score, so the same clip isn't charged twice, plus a record that a check happened on your account.
  • Purchases. Waffo Hong Kong Limited is our Merchant of Record and collects your payment details. We only get what we need to give you what you bought: the order, amount, status and date. We never see your full card number. Waffo's policy: https://waffo.com/privacy-policy.
  • Usage. If you accept analytics in the cookie banner, Google Analytics records which pages you visit and your browser type.

Cookies

We use cookies that keep you signed in and remember settings like the theme. Analytics cookies are only set if you accept them. We don't use advertising cookies.

Who processes data for us

Cloudflare (hosting and database), Sightengine (the AI music check; it receives the 30-second clip, see its privacy policy), Waffo Hong Kong Limited (payments), Google (sign-in if you choose it, analytics if you accept it), and an email provider for account emails. We don't sell your personal information.

How long we keep it

Account data stays while your account exists. Delete your account in Settings and we remove it, apart from purchase records the law requires us to keep.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR), you can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, or object to how it's used. Email us and we'll reply within 30 days. EU residents can also complain to their data protection authority.

Where data is processed

Our providers may process data in the United States, Hong Kong and other countries, under their own safeguards for international transfers.

Children

The service isn't meant for children under 16.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top.
