Suno AI Detector
Drop a song to check for the spectral fingerprint Suno leaves in generated audio. You get a 0–100 score and a plain verdict. The check is free, and your audio file never leaves your device.
Our Suno test: 64 out of 64 flagged
In October 2026, we checked 64 songs from Suno's trending list, made with its newest model in six languages. Every song was flagged. We then compressed the same files to MP3 and Opus and checked them again:
| Audio tested | Songs | Flagged as AI | Lowest score |
|---|---|---|---|
| Original files | 64 | 64 | 92 / 100 |
| MP3 copies | 64 | 64 | 85 / 100 |
| Opus copies | 64 | 64 | 87 / 100 |
We used the same detector and settings available on this page. Read the full sample and method on our accuracy test.
How to check a Suno song
- Export or download the audio file you want to check.
- Drop the original file into the checker above. MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC and OGG work.
- Read the score and the fingerprint chart. Use the cleanest copy you have.
A high score means the detector found patterns associated with AI generation. A low score means it did not find them; it does not prove that a person made the song. For a decision that matters, combine the result with the artist checks in our guide to how to tell if a song is AI-generated.
Where a Suno detector can be wrong
- A real singer over an AI backing track, or AI vocals over a human performance.
- Audio processed to remove generator fingerprints.
- A new or heavily modified generator the model has not learned.
- Very short clips, rough speaker recordings and other low-quality copies.
Our public test mostly covers clean, recent Suno output. It does not establish an error rate for every Suno version or edited track.
AI detection is not copyright detection
This is a Suno AI music detector, not a copyright or plagiarism checker. It cannot identify who owns a song, whether one song copies another, or whether a licence allows your intended use. Those questions need source, rights and ownership evidence instead.

FAQ
Questions
- Can this detector identify Suno AI music?
- In our October 2026 test, this detector flagged all 64 recent Suno songs. That is a result on one sample, not a guarantee for every Suno model or edited track.
- Does the Suno AI detector work on MP3 files?
- Yes. We converted all 64 test songs to MP3 and every one was still flagged. The lowest score was 85 out of 100, compared with 92 for the original files.
- Can an edited or half-human Suno song escape detection?
- It can be less certain when a track combines AI and human parts, has been heavily processed, or uses a generator version the model has not learned. Treat the score as one signal, not proof.
- Is this a Suno copyright detector?
- No. It looks for traces of AI generation in the sound. It does not establish copyright ownership, detect plagiarism, or tell you whether you have permission to use a song.
- Is the Suno checker free and private?
- Yes. One song at a time is free, up to 10 a day, with no account. Your browser reads the audio and the file never leaves your device.
