About Is This Song AI
Drop a song and an AI music detector looks for the fingerprint Suno and Udio leave in the sound. Free, no sign-up, and your file never leaves your device. How the check works
Your browser decodes the song and turns it into a spectral fingerprint: a list of numbers that describes the sound and can't be turned back into audio. Only that fingerprint is sent to us to be scored. The song itself stays on your device.
The detector is the open-source ai-music-detector by Matěj Štágl (MIT License), built on published research into the artifacts AI music tools like Suno and Udio leave in the sound. We tested it ourselves before relying on it. The score is a strong hint, not proof.
Who makes it
Is This Song AI is built and run by Jianwei Li, an independent developer based in Shenzhen, China. It's a one-person project: the same person writes the code, answers the support email and reads every bug report.
