AI Music Detector
Upload a track and a detection model trained on Suno, Udio and other generators scores how likely it is that a machine made it. You get the score, a plain verdict, and the ways it can be wrong.
Who uses an AI music detector
- Listeners who found a band with a million plays and no live shows, and want to know before they get attached.
- Playlist curators and radio who don't want to fill slots meant for artists with generated tracks.
- Labels, A&R and distributors checking demos and releases before they sign or pay.
- Journalists who need more than a hunch before writing that a song is AI.
What the score is, and what it isn't
The score runs from 0 to 100. High means the model hears the patterns AI generators leave; low means it doesn't. It's a probability from one model, so treat a high score as a reason to look closer, not as proof. The homepage explains each band of the score.
Where it struggles: heavy auto-tune and polished pop can look machine-made, and a real band playing over AI vocals sits in the middle. Very short clips and songs recorded off a speaker are harder too. Use the cleanest file you have.
When you can't get the file
Streaming apps don't give you a file to check. You can still look at the artist: release pace, social accounts, live dates and interviews. Our guide on how to tell if a song is AI walks through those checks.
FAQ
Questions
- How does an AI music detector work?
- It listens for the traces music generators leave in the sound: how the voice, instruments and mix are put together. It doesn't read the file's name or tags, so renaming a file or wiping its metadata doesn't change the score.
- Which AI music generators can it catch?
- Songs generated end to end by Suno, Udio, Riffusion and similar tools. Generators that came out after the model was last trained, and songs where people only used AI for one part, are harder.
- Is this the same as an AI song checker?
- Yes. An AI song checker, AI song detector and AI music detector are the same thing under different names. Here it's one check per song, and your first one is free.
- Will you keep or publish my song?
- No. Only 30 seconds from the middle of the track leave your browser, go to our detection provider for the check, and aren't stored.
